Comments, observations or reasons for major changes: More changes may be coming to Class A after the conclusion of the Metro conference tournament. All coaches had the same top 5 teams, but nine different teams received votes for #6-#10. No changes in the top 5 based on Lincoln East winning the Heartland conference tournament. Papio has a chance to move to #1 if they win the Metro tourney. LSW moves back in after finishing 2nd at HAC tourney, also allowing Fremont to enter after a 3rd place finish. Benson drops from the top 10 after losing to Papio South.

Comments, observations or reasons for major changes: Elkhorn has established themselves as the clear #1 with their consistent play. Platteview’s only loss is to Elkhorn. Seward gets a slight edge over Waverly comparing common opponents. Gretna falls in right behind them after a recent home loss to Aurora. Crete had a great holiday tournament easily beating GINW but preceded that with a one point win over Ralston. SSC struggled on back to back nights in the Waverly Holiday Tournament, but remains ahead of Norris based on overall work. Elkhorn South remains ranked based on all of their losses coming vs class A top 10 teams, and #1 Elkhorn. York has battled tough with a key starter out. Sidney is having a strong season and a recent impressive win over Beatrice

Comments, observations or reasons for major changes: Lincoln Christian solidifies the top spot after winning the Waverly Holiday Tournament. Bishop Neumann had a good week beating Auburn, and class B Seward. The coaches kept Wahoo ahead of Lincoln Lutheran even after LL defeated them at home 45-39. Omaha Concordia climbs back in after defeating North Bend, but stays behind Auburn based on head to head.

Stanton had a good win over Hartington/Newcastle. Top games this week include HSC vs C1#1 Lincoln Christian, Stanton vs Oakland-Craig, and Crofton vs Ponca.
