Comments, observations or reasons for major changes: Millard South and Millard North remain undefeated. Westside jumps Lincoln East after beating them on the road by 14. Papio is 6-0, and will have their chance to move to the top with the Metro tourney over the next few weeks. Benson remains ahead of Bellevue West based on their head to head win earlier. Marian moves up a spot after a road win vs class B Elkhorn South. Lincoln High enters after beating LNE, but stays below Bellevue West based on head to head. LNE gets hit hard with the loss of Super State player McKenna Minter for the season, but responds less than 24 hours later with a 5 point win over Pius. Top games this week between ranked teams are: Bellevue West @ Millard South, Benson @ Marian.

Comments, observations or reasons for major changes: SSC is not penalized for their 65-62 loss to Sioux Falls Lincoln (South Dakota). Elkhorn has looked dominant to start the year. Platteview is also undefeated, but will be tested over the next few weeks. Gretna has only one loss (Waverly), but remains ahead of them based on the entire body of work. Seward remains undefeated vs class B competitions. Waverly is on a roll after a slow start. Elkhorn South is 1-5, but all 5 losses are to teams ranked in the top 8 in class A. GINW drops after a road loss to Columbus. Crete drops after a tough loss to class C1 Scotus. Omaha Gross enters the rankings at #9. Top games this week Include Elkhorn @ Elkhorn South, Gross vs C1 Bishop Neumann, Waverly @ Crete, SSC @ Skutt.

Class C1 appears to have closed the gap with class B or surpassed them based on some head to head results this year. Top games this week include Wahoo @ Lincoln Lutheran, Neumann @ Class B Omaha Gross, and Auburn @ Omaha Concordia.

Comments: Superior get a big win over class B York. Crofton is not penalized after a loss to Sioux Falls Lincoln (South Dakota). Stanton gets a good win over C-1 North Bend Central. NPSP, Ravenna, and Archbishop Bergan all dropped games this week which causes them to drop. Dundy County-Stratton is 8-0, but hasn’t been tested. A key game this week features Ravenna at D1 Pleasanton.

Comments, observations or reasons for major changes: Meridian moves to #1 after Elgin/Pope John loses to Boyd County dropping them to #10. Pleasanton moves into the rankings after being undefeated to this point. A top game this week features Humphrey/LHF who hosts C2 4th ranked Stanton.

Comments, observations or reasons for major changes: Exeter-Milligan moves down a spot after a 47-44 OT loss to D1 Friend. Humphrey St. Francis moves up to #2, staying undefeated. Hyannis moves back into the rankings with their only loss to #6 Mullen. Mead falls out of the rankings after a loss to East Butler. Maywood -Hayes Center also jumps back in after a 6-1 start. An interesting game this week has FCSH hosting class C2 Elmwood-Murdock.
