Zach Isherwood
Nebraska Attack Director

Coach Isherwood has been involved with coaching girls basketball for the past 15 years.  Along with coaching AAU, he has also coached at DII Fort Hays State, DIII Nebraska Wesleyan, and was the assistant coach at Millard South from 2013-2017.  Prior to his arrival the program has gone 28-65 the previous four seasons.  During Zach’s four year tenure he helped lead the program to a 70-34 overall record.  During the 2015-2016 season the team went 23-5 losing to the eventual Class A state champion in double overtime of the state semifinals. The 2016-2017 season marked his final season at Millard South and ended with an overtime loss in the state championship game and a record of 25-4.

Zach has been very instrumental in helping Nebraska girls basketball reach new heights, and helping many girls fulfill their dreams of playing college basketball.  He is an UNL alum with a business degree, and is finishing his MBA.  He has great passion for the game and loves teaching leadership, character and work ethic that will make kids successful not only on the basketball court, but also in life.  “I don’t love basketball.  I really like basketball.  I LOVE helping and making a difference in the lives of kids through the game of basketball”. Zach was married in May of 2018, he and his wife Amy are expecting their first child in February.

Keven Krull
Assistant Director

Coach Krull has been involved in coaching youth and high school club basketball for the past 12 years. First as a “dad” coach to his daughters before moving on to the Grizzlies organization for three years. He then began coaching in the Attack program from its inception in 2015. He truly enjoys the relationships with the players and families that he gets to spend time with. “Watching young ladies grow as players and people gives me so much satisfaction to be a part of that growth.”  Keven was married to Brenda in May of 2000 and they have two daughters, Maddie  and Karly.

Bryce Meyers
HS Girls & Youth Boys Coach

Coach Meyers has been coaching basketball since 2006 where he was a Boys Varsity Assistant from 2006-2012 at Millard South. He is currently the Head Girls Coach at Millard South High School 2013-current.  His career win/loss record is 116-40 including going 94-15 the past 4 seasons.  His team has also gone to the State Tournament 4 straight years, along with 4 straight 20-win seasons. Bryce played at Briar Cliff University where he scored over 1,200 points and grabbed over 600 rebounds in his career. He has been married since 2006 to Rachel and has three boys Koby, Brevin, and Briggs.

HS Girls Coach

Coach Mintken is currently the assistant coach at Omaha Skutt Catholic High school.  He previously was the head girls coach at Bellevue West High School (2014-2018) leading them to multiple state tournaments. Prior to Bellevue West, he spent 7 years at Millard West as a varsity assistant under Coach Kip Colony. Rick’s family includes his wife, Annie, two sons, Emerson, and Eli.

Taylor Shepard
HS Girls Coach

Taylor has been part of the Attack program since the start. She graduated from Midland University where she played basketball and was a member of the 1,000 point club. She is now the head coach at West Point-Beemer high school, after spending three years as an assistant coach at Elkhorn South.

Kevin Freeman
Youth & HS Girls Coach

Coach Freeman has been coaching basketball since 2007 and brings a wide array of knowledge and enthusiasm to the Attack Program.  Kevin Freeman has been a High School Boys Coach at Millard South 2011-2016 and currently Coaches Girls Basketball at Millard South 2016-present.  Coach Freeman has a great passion for the game of basketball and enjoys seeing his players grow into well rounded individuals on and off the basketball court.

Todd Johnson
Youth Girls & Boys Coach

Todd Johnson has spent most of his adult life coaching sports at one level or another. He is currently teaching Health and Physical Education and serving as the Aquatics Director at Westside High School. He has spent nearly 20 years in education teaching social studies, health, physical education, and serving part-time as a dean of students.
Todd coached JV and Varsity Boys Basketball at Lewis Central High School in Council Bluffs from 2000-2008, and was named a 4A Varsity Assistant Coach of the Year by the Iowa Basketball Coaches Association in 2008. He also coached freshman, JV, and Varsity football while at LC, and has recently focused on coaching his own kids in an array of sports at the youth level, and helped with several youth select organizations.
Todd played on a state-qualifying basketball team at Council Bluffs Abraham Lincoln High School, and was also an All-Metro Conference football player. He played football at the University of Nebraska-Kearney from 1989-1991, and earned his B.S. in Education from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, and his M.Ed from Chadron State College, focusing on Educational Administration and School Leadership.
Todd loves teaching and coaching, and believes the learning process, both in the classroom and on the court, should be challenging, engaging, and fun.

Nick Selken
Youth Girls Coach

Coach Selken played basketball at South Dakota State University 2008-2013. After College he went to several European professional tryouts. He decided to pursue his career in teaching and coaching and got into coaching when he lived in Arizona as a youth coach for 1 year 2014-2015. Once he moved to Omaha, NE he coached 1 year as an assistant varsity coach for Central High School 2015-2016. Coach Selken pursued to get his Masters Degree in Administration and Leadership (2016-17). He then moved onto Nebraska Attack as a youth coach and this will be his 4 th season with Attack. Nick has always been growing his knowledge in the game of basketball. Coach Selken is very passionate about coaching and helping students’ reach there full potential on and off the court. Nick has lived in Omaha for 3 years now with his wife Melanie and is proud to be apart of the Attack Program.
